Punching your ticket in the $500K guaranteed tourney takes less than 5 minutes, so it’s a fast and fun way to play! Here’s the details:
Phase 1: The Fight Starts
The only way to get into Phase 2 of the tourney is through Phase 1. Here’s the details:
• As soon as 8 players register, the game starts with a countdown timer.
• Each player receives 3 hole cards and has 20 seconds to discard one!
• Once all players discard, the remaining flop, turn, and river cards are dealt. Whoever has the lowest hand is eliminated.
• This scenario continues until the final player remains standing. That player then advances to Phase 2.
How to Enter Phase 1
There are two ways to get into Phase 1:
1. Buy-in directly for $230.
2. Enter Step Satellites which start at just $4. You can then work your way up the ladder and earn the $230 buy-in.
Phase 1 games can be found On Demand 24/7, so compete whenever it’s most convenient for you. Reminder: Each Phase 1 winner automatically gets a spot in Phase 2 and this is the only way to qualify.
Phase 2: Excitement Peaks
When you advance to Phase 2, the action really starts:
• Begins at 2:05pm ET on Sunday, February 23rd.
• There are no direct buy-ins. You will only compete against other Phase 1 winners.
• Everyone in this small field will have the same chip stack, creating fairness.
• Battle for your share of the massive $500,000 prize pool!

How to find Survivor Flips
1. In the Poker Client, you’ll see ‘Survivor Flips’ under the Satellites tab.
2. Pinned at the top of the MTT section is “Survivor Flips Phase 2 – $500K GTD Tournament”. On the right side, the pop-up box will display available Step Satellites and Phase 1 games.
